On June 25, Jeremy and I gave my Best Friend Jennifer and her Husband Thomas a Dipe and Wipe Shower for their Baby Samantha Lee. Baby Samantha's nursery is done in a Paris theme and her colors are red, black and white. The topper on her cake is from Paris!! Jennifer and I have been Best Friends since Kindergarden and I am so blessed to be a part of this exciting time in her life!! I love you Jenn and we can't wait to meet Samantha!!

Happy Father's Day to Jeremy and to my Daddy!! We spent the day celebrating with Jeremy's Family....it was also, my Mother In Law's Birthday....more on that in my next post. This Father's Day was hard for me...this is the first one since My Daddy has moved. We all miss him very much but, we did get to talk to him so, that was great. Jeremy had a great day....he got an Under Armour Hat, a picture frame with pics of him and the kids (in the pic above). And, he also got some Wonka candy that he had been wanting.

God has blessed me and the kids more than I could ever imagine. My Daddy is great and Hayden and Lizzie Kate are so blessed to have such a wonderful Daddy. Jeremy would do anything for those babies, he LOVES them with all his heart!! Thank you Jesus for my family!! :)

We got a Care Package from B-Pa and CC a couple of weeks ago, the kids were thrilled!! They both got a camel with their names monogrammed on the hats and they sent a book we had given them before they left. It is one of those Recordable Story Books by Hallmark. The kids have run the batteries down 3 times!! It was such a nice surprise!! :)

One of my best friends, Brooke (and Scott) had there beautiful baby girl, Margaret Grace (Gracie). She is GORGEOUS!! She weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and is 20 inches long. She was born Monday, August 31, 2009. Brooke is absolutely glowing!! Mommy, Daddy and Gracie are all doing great!! Me, Jeremy and LK went to see them yesterday and I took Hayden back today. Aunt Brookey has a picture of Hayden holding her, I will post it as soon as I get it!! :)

Lizzie Kate's 2 Year Check Up!!

Lizzie Kate had her 2 year old check up on Monday. She weighs a whopping 22 pounds and she is 34 1/4 inches tall. She is actually on the chart, she is in the 5th percentile for weight and the 60th percentile for height. I never thought we would see the day that she was on the chart!! Dr. Dennis decided to leave her on the 3 PediaSure's per day. And, she said she looks great!! She says about 100 words and is trying to put sentences together!! She is getting to be such a big girl!! :)

We took Hayden and Lizzie Kate to the Gardendale High School Football game, Friday night. My little Cousin, Kelsey is a Rockette (Dance Team). The kids had a great time!! But, they were very disappointed they didn't get to see "Kessie"!! But, I got them these precious shirts and this is the best I got out of about 15!!

Hayden had a great first day of school!! I can't believe my baby went to school today. When he got out of the car he just turned around and waved bye to us!! Lizzie Kate was SO sad when he got out, she asked for him about 25 times in the three hours he was at school. It felt like those 3 hours were the longest of my life. When he got back in the car, I think he was more excited to see Lizzie Kate than he was to see us!! :) Anyway, I am SO glad that he liked school and wants to go back tomorrow. As you can see from the pictures he was VERY excited!! :)

We really had a wonderful time at the spur of the moment. That is how we work, though. We don't have to spend a bunch of money to have a great time as long as we are together. Tonight meant more to me than a fancy dinner and a new purse. What matters to me is that we can have fun just being Kourt and J. I don't tell my husband enough that I love him more than anything. Saturday, May 16, 2009 was the 1st Annual Lorie Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament at Highland Golf Course in Birmingham. As most of you know, I am the Secretary on The Board of Directors for The Lorie Johnson Foundation. We had a wonderful turnout. The picture is of all of the golfers and most of the volunteers. Of course that is Noah and Zach in the front with Daryl. I think Kimmie and I are the only ones not in the picture. We had food catered from Full Moon BBQ. This was a great way for everyone to show support and do some thing fun!! Thank you for all who came out to support us!! "Until there is a Cure, there will ALWAYS be a need!!"

Mother's Day is such a special day for me. I remember when I was a child my Moma always looked forward to this day, and now I understand why. God has given me the two most precious children. I am so honored that he chose me to be Hayden and Lizzie Kate's Mommy. It is the best job in the whole world.

We went to see my Moma 2 (Carrie) and my Great Grandmommy. And then we spent the afternoon with my Moma. Thank you Moma for teaching me all of the things that you did and thank you for showing me that Jesus gave me my children as a gift. I wouldn't be here without you today. There is no better gift than a child.

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. I will post some pictures later.

There is not really a lot to report. We have spent most of every day at my Grandmother's house with my Great Grandmommy and the rest of the Cotton family. Saturday, I went by myself, while Jeremy stayed at home with the kids. I spent all day over there. Sunday, we got up and all went. We spent a good bit of the day with everyone. Monday, Jeremy went to work and the kids and I went to the house and had lunch with everyone. Tara brought Cooper, so the kids had a wonderful time playing. Jeremy, the kids and I went to Belk to get him some thing new to wear to the funeral (he is a pallbearer). Today, I got up and went to meet my Moma. We went to see if I could find some thing new (I didn't). Then, we went to Logan's for lunch. Jeremy took off a half of day so we came home and got him and went to Grandmother's for a little while. The kids started getting tired so we came home and let them get a nap and we went back for supper. Tomorrow, is the funeral and we will be going back to Grandmother's to eat.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time for me and my family. I can't thank you enough.

Tonight, I received heartbreaking news. My Grandmother, Hayden and Lizzie Kate's GG has gone to be with the Lord. I will never forget the look in my Daddy's eyes when he told me the news. You will be greatly missed, Grandmother. I will miss our late night talks!! We love you very much!!

Well, this is Lizzie Kate playing Peek-A-Boo!! I haven't had a chance to update on her weight check. We went to the Doctor last week and she weighs 20 pounds and 2 ounces at 20 Months Old. She is still SO tiny!! I am really having a hard time with clothes. She has some shorts from last summer that are 0-3 months that actually fit!! Anyway, she is doing a lot now. She is down to only having her pacifier at nap and bed time. Since we started that she talks all of the time. Not near as much as Hayden, though. She says, Mommy, Daddy, Bubba/Bubbie, MeMe, Pop, B-Pa, CC, Cat, Cup, Cracker, Cookie, Emmie's (M & M's), Eat, Nite-Nite, Bye-Bye, Hey, Please, Thank You, No, She shakes her head yes, What, Fish, Kirby (Next Door Neighbors Dog), T (Tara), Belle (Kelsey). She is saying a lot of phrases now her favorite is "I TT, I PooPoo". She says that all of the time. She wants to sit on the potty like Hayden. She is such a sweet baby but, boy does she have a temper!! She thinks it is her way or NO WAY!! I can't believe we are less than 4 months from her second birthday. Where does the time go?

Well, my little cousin (I guess she is not so little anymore) Kelsey is 17!! Her actual birthday was April 06, 2009 but we celebrated her birthday on Saturday. She had a bonfire here at my house. We had lots of family and friends here to celebrate with us!! Her cake looked amazing and she didn't even want to cut it, but we did!! We roasted marshmallows and Jeremy grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. It was a great party an a lot of fun!!

March Birthday Celebration!!

This past weekend, we celebrated My Aunt Patricia's Birthday (Tara's Mom) and my Grandmother's Birthday!! It is always very fun for all of us to get together. Tanna and Kenna always enjoy it because usually when we see Coop they are in school. And they just love Hayden and Lizzie Kate. The kids enjoyed eating cake and ice cream!! Cooper had it everywhere. He is a hoot!!

This morning, Lizzie Kate was laying down for her "cat nap" and when she woke up she was just talking and I was putting some supper in the Crock Pot so, I thought I would get her in just a minute. Well, all of the sudden I heard this really loud thump followed by crying. Let me just tell you Lizzie Kate was in the floor not in her crib with her clothes and diaper off!! Boy, do I have my hands full with her. Hayden never even tried to climb out of his crib. I am not sure if it will happen again but I guess if it does it will be time for my baby to have a Big Girl Bed. :(

What a Weekend for The Keiths!!

Our weekend started Thursday afternoon. Brian, Mandi and Tuck (Jeremy's Sister and her family) came in town from Glasgow, Kentucky. They got here a little before 7 pm. The boys were so excited to get to play together and Lizzie Kate is always ready to tag along!!

Friday morning we got up and went to Wal-Mart and bought groceries came home and fixed lunch then it was time for the boys and Lizzie Kate to take naps. After nap time we went to eat at Logan's for supper and then we went to the Galleria. We made a quick stop at Krispy Kreme (they don't have one in Kentucky) and came home and of course the kids had to have one!! The kids went to bed and we stayed up and played Rummy. Mandi and I beat Jeremy and Brian (of course!!). Then it was off to bed at midnight.

Saturday morning we got up to some nasty weather. We hung out around here for a little bit and then we went to Habanero's in Trussville for lunch. We ran by the Cookie Company to get the kids something and then we went to Garden Ridge in Irondale. We walked around in there for a really long time. Then we came home and put the kids down for a nap and Jeremy and Brian went to Wal-Mart to pick up a couple of things. When they got back it was time to start cooking supper and my Daddy and Carrie came over. Jeremy cooked a Boston Butt on the grill (it was amazing). I made the kids some Easter Bunny cookies and then my Mom and Rodney came by. After that we let them take a bath together. It was quite interesting for all 3 to be in the tub at the same time. The kids watched a movie and then went to bed. Me and Mandi went to Wal-Mart because I need to get a cake mix to make for Grandmother's Birthday and we stopped by Milo's and got Brian and Mandi a hamburger (they don't have Milo's either). When we got home we played Rummy, again and of course Mandi and I are still the CHAMPS!! We went to bed about 11.

Sunday, it was time for Brian, Mandi and Tuck to go home. We got up and cooked breakfast and they got the car loaded and left. After they left we hung out for a little bit and got ready to go to my Grandmother's for her birthday.

It was good to get to see all of the family in one weekend!! Hayden, Lizzie Kate and Tuck had a great time playing together and we were able to get all 3 car seats on the back row of my van so that was fun!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Have a wonderful week!!

This past weekend we didn't do too much!! Saturday I helped my friend Chris that owns Monkey Toes. Then I hurried home because we had Isabelle's First Birthday Party!! I can't believe she is 1!! Anyway, she had a great party. The kids had a great time playing. Look how messy she got, it was hilarious!! We ate way too much!! When we left the party we went and got some Jim-N-Nick's. And came home to eat. Sunday, we went to Church and came home and spent some much needed time as a family. It was SO rainy outside. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!

What a Weekend!!

Well, Jeremy's weekend started early. He got off work Friday at Noon. He had a few errands to run while me, Mom, and the kids were still at Cottontail's. When we got home Jeremy and Hayden went to O'Reily's while me and Mom hung out and Lizzie Kate took a nap. She was absolutely exhausted from Cottontail's. After Jeremy and Hayden got back we all went to Logan's for supper. Mom and Rodney met us after we finished eating and decided to take Hayden home. He got to go to the Kayak Races on Saturday morning. Me, Jeremy and Lizzie Kate went to the movie store and rented some movies (which by the way I still haven't watched). We came home and Kelsey came over to spend the night with us. Jeremy had to get up and go to work on Saturday morning and me, Kelsey and Lizzie Kate just hung out. Jeremy went to pick up Zaxby's after he got off and brought it home. I sat outside with him while Lizzie Kate napped, he had to change the oil and spark plugs on his truck. Lizzie Kate came outside after her nap and I had to come in and get ready for Jenn's Lingerie Party. Hayden came home and got his new 4-Wheeler!! He was SO excited!! I left about 345 and headed to Trussville to run some errands and it was much needed to get to do some things by myself. Then I headed over to the party which by the way, was SO much fun!! Jenn got some really cute things. We had a wonderful time with just the girls!! After the party I called Jeremy and he said he had both of the kids, fed, bathed and in bed!! WOW, what a wonderful husband I have!! So, I decided to go to Wendy's with 2 of the other bridesmaids. I didn't get home until some time after 11 and when I came home my house was spotless. Did I mention how wonderful my husband is?? Anyway, we went to my Daddy's for a little bit on Sunday. We played with them for a little while and we had to run by Jenn's house to pick up my dress. We went by Little Caesar's for lunch and came home to eat. The kids took naps and Jeremy and I went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. When the kids got up we played outside for a while then Jeremy and Hayden went to the store to pick up a few things and came home and grilled hamburgers. We enjoyed eating outside!! Then it was time to come in and get baths and get ready for bed!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and have a great week!! I will try to post some pictures tonight...I still have pictures from the snow!!

Oh, I will leave you a little funny from Hayden. We passed the store "Ashley Furniture" and he is very inquisitive about what signs say. So I told him that was Ashley Furnitre, and he said "Ashley (my friend is who he is reffering to) must shop there a lot!!!" I thought it was SO funny!!

Lizzie Kate's 18 Month Check Up!!

Lizzie Kate went for her 18 month check up, yesterday. She weighs 19 pounds and 10 ounces, which means she gained 1 pound 10 ounces since January 05, 2009. She is 30 1/2 inches tall. The Doctor was impressed with her weight gain and we are just going to keep going back every 6 weeks for weight checks. She did say that she wants me to keep her on the 3 PediaSures per day. She said that when she gains some more weight we may try and back off and see what happens. The doctor was impressed at her talking even though she doesn't talk any where near what Hayden was at this age. He was almost talking in sentences. Anyway, Hayden got on the scale while we were waiting and he weighs 36 pounds!! Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers!! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Traumatic Day!!

Well, this morning started of pretty normal. But, let's just say it wasn't anywhere near normal!! This morning while I was getting ready to go shopping with my Mom, I heard this really loud crash that resulted in both of my children SCREAMING!! I ran in Hayden's room and his Chest of Drawers and TV are both completely turned over and Lizzie Kate is in the floor screaming while Hayden, is sitting in the chair crying. Lizzie Kate apparently climbed up in the second drawer of the chest and turned the whole thing over on herself. She was half in the drawer when I got to her. I immediately called Jeremy and he came home from work and then I called my Mom, then the Pediatrician. I checked Lizzie Kate for broken bones and she acted ok. She was just very clingy (as you could imagine). When I spoke to the Doctor she said as long as her pupils were equal, she wasn't vomiting, and she could walk normally, then everything was fine and there was no reason to bring her into the office. I am just supposed to watch her for 24 hours. She perked up a good bit when MeMe got here. Lizzie Kate wanted MeMe to take her outside so, we put some clothes on her and out she went. She has a couple of scrapes on her face and on her back, her ears are both red, and she has a pinch mark with a blood blister on her finger. God really had his hands on her because if that TV would have landed on her the outcome would have been completely different. By the way, Hayden was crying because the show he was watching on the TV went off when she fell!! Please, continue to pray for her. I know she is going to be sore in the morning.
